About us

We’re a small , complementary team that combines capital allocation, engineering discipline, and hands-on advisory experience. We invest with a long-term horizon, work closely with management teams, and commit our own capital alongside founders.

Creating real succession options for entrepreneurs that care

After several years of advising service SME entrepreneurs across Europe on M&A transactions and releasing over half a billion euros of their hard-earned equity, we came to realise that their exit options were limited. They could either:

  • team up with a financial investor that (sometimes unsustainably) supercharges growth & operations, or

  • sell to a competitor that slowly dismantles their brand, culture, legacy and decision-making authority.

While either option can be attractive to most, we witnessed a special breed of entrepreneurs who take immense pride in their company having to pick the least bad option.

Inspired by Berkshire Hathaway and its unique approach to corporate ownership, we sought to provide an alternative option. An option which those proud entrepreneurs want to picka permanent home that preserves their autonomy and legacy.
